Treasure Chest

Art at the Treasure Trove

The 'Treasure Trove' is an interactive art and culture tent that will highlight Bay Area artists and galleries while giving festival goers a chance to take a break from the music. Lounge in the San Francisco Zine Fest library and peruse innovative DIY print publications or sink inside art duo Ribbons’ bathtub sculpture and relax with delicately sampled audio recordings. Artist Mary March brings her popular Identity Tapestry and Triple Base Gallery comes with elements of their successful show, “Open for Business” where contemporary artists and inventors will each provide an offering of goods, services or information to the public. Fest-goers will also feast their eyes on photos, collages, silkscreen prints, posters, and paintings in the Carnivalesque Gallery. Pieces will be for sale to the public. The Carnivalesque Gallery ” is co-curated by Betty Nguyen of San Francisco based contemporary arts publication First Person Magazine. Attractions

There’s something for everyone at Treasure Island Music Festival. California’s tallest ferris wheel will be back as well as those crazy, loveable creatures Big Nazo , the EHS Pilates massage team, and the Madu Salon hair-do tent. Catch the live art at the 64' long mural wall or join the SFC Double Dutch crew for a turn on the ropes!

Treasure Chest

The Treasure Chest is an exclusive vendor village featuring the best local crafters, poster artists, designers and tastemakers sharing and selling their fantastic creations. The Treasure Chest also features a variety of non-profit organizations and eco-awareness exhibits, all focused on making the world (and especially our corner of it) a better place.

Treasure Hunt

Throughout each day of the Treasure Island Music Festival, there will be number of Treasure Hunts held with different prizes awarded for each. Taking part in these treasure hunts is as easy as signing up for periodic text hunt instructions. Treasure hunts will occur at regular intervals throughout the weekend and you are invited to participate in as many or as few as you want to. All players who sign up for treasure hunt clues will also be automatically entered into a drawing to receive a grand prize and other prize packages like tickets to shows, backpacks, tshirts and more!

Beverages

A full selection of beverages will be available on-site throughout the festival including Heineken Beer and Northern California wines for those 21 years and older. There are no fenced-in beer gardens and all beverages may be enjoyed anywhere on festival grounds.

Food

There will be a variety of Bay Area favorites available at the Treasure Island Music Festival such as Mexican and Indian food, sushi and chowder bowls as well as more traditional festival fare including burgers, BBQ, pizza, falafel, veggie wraps, and smoothies. To accommodate a wide variety of dietary considerations, there will be numerous vegetarian and vegan options. The Ice Cream Man will also be offering up free frozen treats throughout the festival.
