Eclectic, Erratic, Eccentric. These words brought to you by the letter E are helpful in describing the musical styling of the New York and Philadelphia based band The Walkmen. Jangling pianos with off kilter vocals are combined with dismantled drum lines that walk over the recordings with the jilted, awkward movements of a marionette. Surprisingly, when combined together these disturbances to the eardrums become melodic and delightful. Entertaining to a fault, it can lead to symptoms of happiness and wistful delight in those who partake of these musical offerings.

Formed in the year 2000 The Walkmen are a group of talented and experienced musicians who succeed in drawing from their previous projects a passion for creating excellent music that has guided them until today.
