Coming at you from the land down under, Melbourne’s finest indie-electronic outfit Cut Copy is ready to fill the San Francisco night air with hypnotic, synthetic pop-infused beats that bring you back to the good old days when feathered hair, neon colors and Members Only jackets were all the rage. That’s right, we’re speaking of the ‘70s and ‘80s, and assuming you’re old enough to remember those golden years, you’re going to appreciate the vintage veneer that the Australian four-piece has shellacked on their modern-day club tracks. The band promises to get all hipsters and hood rats up on their feet and shaking their booty with their latest summertime sonic anthems as they continue their tour in support of their third album Zonoscope which was released earlier this year. Heads will bob as the band pulses and spoon feeds the crowd with old favorites like “Lights and Music” and new classics like “Need You Now” and “Blink and You’ll Miss A Revolution.” Their synth is so fierce you’ll feel like you can taste the rainbow. Trust me, you’ll know what that means after experiencing them. VERONICA YOUNG
